The finishing touches of a space is one of the key parts of every project. Every designer has their own way of adding an extra oomph to the room, even when the aesthetic is minimalistic. There some pieces that once placed properly, they make the space feel complete and define the style that most represents the client.

One of the most loved styles of design in a space is where a rustically organic style harmonizes seamlessly with modern features. Spaces By Jacflash often caters to male clients who love this more masculine style, as it gives off an effortlessly refined, yet weathered and lived in look that is much desired. A masculine space should be relatively relaxed, so in using these organic elements, a monochromatic colour scheme and a touch of drama to the space, it gives every man the living space he can relate to. Features such as exposed wood, brick or concrete are always a plus but can be easily added or imitated if not already existing in the space. Other unexpected elements to use are live edge wood features like a headboard or table with a dark accent wall.
Spaces By Jacflash recently designed a Yorkville condo in which used a barnboard headboard and live edge coffee table coincide with a matching media shelving unit.
Below are both inspiration photos we love and projects we have done in this style. Tell us what you think of the classic and contemporary style that achieves this masculine and unconventional charm.
