Gynaecologist, Dr. Gabrielle Cassir  currently sub-specializes in High Risk Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and is considered one of the association’s most recognized
medical specialists.

Throughout her continuous training, Dr. Cassir immersed herself in the many facets of the OB-GYN
world, and in doing so, discovered her passion for women’s education. In a world where pop culture idealism and social media enthralment have become an integral part
of society, Dr. Cassir knows that there’s a relevant opportunity for shedding light and understanding
on the issues, complications and questions women face daily about their bodies.

Dr. Cassir discussed everything we wanted to know about what to expect when expecting, contraception, STDs, Gardasil vaccine, Pap tests and yeast infections…with answers to all our burning female questions in a game of gyno jeopardy!

Our trainer Lara Marquez motivated, lead and guided us through every crunch and lift along with Squats, Thrusts and everything else the booty needs.

And thank you so much for everyone that brought gently used clothing, toiletries, make up and beauty products, bras, socks, underwear and more for the women of Sistering.org!

We found out which muscles make up the core (hint: they weren’t the ones we were thinking) and what happens when these muscles become dysfunctional. Munira also revealed how to strengthen one particular core muscle that is key in flattening our abdomen. With this new lens of appreciation, we felt connected to the deepest, stabilizing system in our bodies. By the end of this engaging and interactive workshop, we learned more about parts of your body that we didn’t even know existed and exactly how to use these invisible parts inside of any exercise we do!

Lara then motivated, lead and guided us through every press down and push up along with squats, thrusts and everything else the booty needs.
